Inclusive Health Insurance

State Option

The State Option provides affordable individual health insurance coverage for individuals who do not qualify for the traditional health insurance plans or their rates are higher than that of inclusive health rates. It is also offered to individuals who are eligible for, enrolled in or exhausted Cobra coverage.

Federal Option

The Federal Option is for North Carolina legal residents who have been without creditable coverage for at least six months. The Federal Option has no pre-existing condition waiting period.
